Rīgas MK installs 110 kV substation equipment in Tallinn.
1986
Rīgas MK constructs an administrative building for the company Augstsprieguma tīkls, at Dārzciems iela 86, in Rīga.
1987
The Energy Construction Trust is converted into Latesa, Latvia’s planning, manufacturing, and construction society, which includes Rīgas MK, Alūksnes PMK Daugavpils PMK, Jelgavas PMK, Ķegumas PMK, Rēzeknes PMK, Talsu PMK, and Valmieras PMK, as well as the Jauda Factory and the Salaspils Cinderblock-Product Factory.
1987
Rīgas MK begins a new direction of operations: heating-network construction.
1980 - 1990
Rīgas MK actively participates in the construction of Latvia’s electrical network, building new substations and constructing and reconstructing a 110 kV line from wooden and cinderblock supports. The Salamandra Substation, in Ropaži, Zilupe Substation, in Dagda, and Viesīte Substation, in Nereta, are built for the 110 kV TEC-1 electro-transmission line. The Bolderāja Substation and the 330/110 kV Jelgava Substation are expanded. Rīgas MK constructed all of the 110 KV cables and raised electrical lines built before Latvia’s regaining of independence.
