Construction of an Electrical-Connection Network for SIA Granul Invest’s Manufacturing Unit

A medium-voltage line has been completed in the electrical-connection network for SIA Granul Invest’s manufacturing unit in Ezeriņi, in the Launkalne parish of the Valka region. The total length of the 20 kV electrical-supply line is 16.07 km, and was constructed for the “Northern Electrical Network” branch of AS Latvenergo.

Construction of Gas Supply for the SIA Juglas jauda Co-generation Station

REMUS has finished construction work for gas supply to the SIA Juglas jauda Co-generation Station. The principle commissioning party for the construction of th distributive gas line is AS Latvijas Gāze. The total length of the gas line is 2 km.

Reconstruction of a Water-Supply and Waste-Water System for the Village of Jaunolaine

REMUS and SIA Zeiferi have entered into an agreement regarding the reconstruction of the water-supply and waste-water system for the village of Jaunolaine. Within the framework of the agreement, water supply and sewerage will be reconstructed and constructed for the village of Jaunolaine, and two new sewerage pump station will be constructed. The agreement provides for the reconstruction and construction of part of the total water supply and sewerage; the dismantling of the existing water tower; and the plugging of four existing artesian wells. The total length of the line will be 10 km.

REMUS has begun reconstruction work on an office and laboratory building for AS Augstprieguma tīkls, in Rīga, Dārzciema iela 68. The total are of the two-storey building is 1,200 m².

Construction of a Cheese Plant and Whey-Processing plant for AS Rīgas piena kombināts

REMUS has completed construction work on a cheese plant and whey-processing plant for AS Rīgas piena kombināts, in Rīga, at Bauskas iela 180. This is the first brand-new manufacturing unit to be constructed in the dairy sector since Latvia’s regaining of independence. The total investment in the project is LVL 5.5 million. Construction was begun in June of 2005, and a total of 4886.5 m² were constructed. The ceremonial unveiling of the structure took place on 20 June, 2006.

"REMUS" Closes a Contract on Improvement of Waterworks in Koknese

"Kokneses Komunālie pakalpojumi" LLC and power construction company "REMUS" LLC have closed a contract on large-scale water supply and sewage network expansion in Koknese. The contract is closed within the framework of the EU Cohesion fund project „Development of Water Management in Municipalities of Eastern Latvian River Basins, Phase II, Aizkraukle Region, Koknese Parish”. A modern waterworks and sewage network will be installed in several of Koknese's streets, as well as an environmental friendly sewage cleaning system. The planned completion date is the 4th of August, 2011.

EU Fund News: Large-Scale Water Pipeline and Sewage Network Reconstruction Works in Salaspils are Completed

Yesterday, on the 25th of June, the works agreed on in the contract „Expansion and Reconstruction of Waterworks and Sewage Network in Salaspils” were completed. Within the framework of the contract 12.7 kilometres of water pipelines, 10.3 kilometres of sewage networks and five sewage pumps were built. The works were carried out within the framework of the EU Cohesion fund project „Development of Water Management in Municipalities of Eastern Latvian River Basins”. The total costs (including VAT) of the project were 6.13 million euro (4.31 million lats)

Reconstruction of Waterworks and Sewage in Vangaži

„REMUS” has completed the reconstruction of waterworks and sewage in the town of Vangaži. The works carried out by „REMUS” were begun on the 26th of May, 2008, and they comprised two thirds of the total waterworks and sewage reconstruction works in Vangaži town.

With the Support of „REMUS”, Renovation Works and the Construction of Laboratories in the Riga Technical College Are Completed

With the support of „REMUS”, several studies, laboratories and offices were renovated and fixed up. The total area of the renovated spaces is approximately 500 m2. The first rooms were completed in 2004, with renovation works being carried out periodically during a four year span. During the renovation process windows as well as the ventilation and heating systems were replaced. Electrical installation works were also carried out. In collaboration with „ABB” LLC power and protection equipment for use in medium voltage electrical networks was installed.

„„REMUS” wins first place in the power construction segment of the competition „Latvia’s Best Work in Power Construction, Projecting and Manufacturing in the Year 2007” for its work on the reconstruction of the 330/110kV substation in Rēzekne.
