REMUS will install underground pipelines and cable canal without digging trenches, using the German firm Tracto-Technik’s Grundodrill 10S and Grundodrill 15X guided horizontal drilling equipment.
The trenchless laying method can be applied, taking into account the following technical conditions:
- the diameter of the pipeline or canal cannot be more than 355 mm.;
- the maximum depth cannot be more than 10 m.;
- the volume of rock in the dirt cannot be more than 35 %;
- the maximum length of the pipeline is not more 350 m.;
- the minimum radius of a branch of pipeline with a curved trajectory is not less than 42 m.
Depending on the diameter of a pipe, the type of dirt, and the circumstances of the laying of a pipeline, 50-200 m. of pipe can be laid during a twenty-four-hour period.
Since 2000, when we began providing this service, REMUS’s specialists have gained a wealth of experience constructing various complex objects, including installing an underground underpass beneath water obstacles and installing utilities and engineering structures in dense areas.
