REMUS began repairing and reconstructing power supply-manufacturing objects in 1998, when the company, together with Alstom, renewed and modernised Latvia’s oldest hydro-electric station, the Ķegums HES-1; work was completed in 2001.
REMUS offers its clients the following services:
- repair and reconstruction of hydro-technical objects;
- repair and reconstruction of hydro-electric stations, thermo-electric stations, and central-heating equipment;
- repair and reconstruction of the utilities and buildings of hydro-electric stations and thermo-electric stations, and of central-heating utilities and buildings.
Depending on the size of a project and the specialisation of work to be performed, REMUS provides services both as a general contractor, managing the entire project, and as a manager and performer of individual work within the framework of a larger project. REMUS’s employees have gained experience working together with internationally recognised companies, like Alstom and Siemens, and have collaborated with other companies in the sector here in Latvia.
